To answer some questions we frequently get:

Welcome:

Q: Do you have wheelchair access?

A: Yes, our front door is eqippied with a wheelchair ramp

Outdoor Fun:

Q: Do you have live music?

A:Yes, On certain nights and afternoons we have live music. We have a calendar here.

Q: Do you allow dogs?

A:  Only service animals are allowed in the dining areas. Please have current papers and identification ready when you check in for your reservation.

Q: Do you have docking space for boats?

A: Yes, Port of Egypt Marina kindly provides the restaurant with some transient slips located near the red crane as you enter the Marina. It's first come first serve, we cannot reserve the transient slips for you. For boats over 40ft please contact the marina at 631 765 2445 to arrange docking. If you have a boat under 40ft and want to upgrade to a bigger boat also call the marina, they sell a lot of lovely Grady's and know a lot about boats - we don't... we specialize in cocktails, wine and seafood.

Q: Where are the boat slips located?

A: Underneath the red crane. You can't miss it.

Reservations:

Q: Do you take reservations?

A: Yes, you can make your reservations online here or call us 631-876-5300. Walk in's are welcome too! 

Q: Do I NEED to make reservations?

A:  We will always do our best to accomodate walk in guests, but will accomodate reservations first. some days they are not neccesary at all and other days (especially weekends, holidays and during great weather) they are essential.

Q: Can I reserve my favorite table?

A: No, we will do our best to accomodate your wishes, but cannot guarantee you will get the exact table you want.

Q: I made my reservation for outside and now I want it to be inside, can I do that? (or vice vera)

A: We will always do our very best to accomodate your wishes, however due to circumstances out of our control (usually availability & weather realted issues) we may not always be able to fullfill an outside reservation indoors or vice vera.

Drinking & Dining in:

Q: Is there a dress code?

A: No, you are welcome to dress to impress or join us in your beachy casuals.

Q: Is the bar full service?

A: Yes, Our bar has the same menu as the dining room. You can also eat at the cabanas on the side deck. While it's not going to be the same tableside service as the dining room, many of our guests enjoy the more casual experience of dining "cabana style" with the bar.

Q: Where are your restrooms?

A: The ladies room is located across from the hostess stand at the front entrance. The mens room is located on the western side of the restaurant past the kitchen, at the end of a corridor. The family restroom is next to the mens room, this is the wheelchair accessible bathroom and also has a changing table for babies.

Q: Can you filet my whole fish?

A: No, enjoying our whole fish whole is part of the dining experiance indicative to the dish.  BUT - We do have many fish items on our menu that are bonless and/ or already fileted.

Deitary Needs:

Q: Is this gluten free?

A: number of our menu items are gluten free and are marked on the menu GF.

Q: I am Vegetarian/ Vegan, what can I eat?

A: Please advise your server about your dietary needs when you are seated. Your server can help point out which items would be perfect for you before you order. We will happily make a grilled vegetable plate and/or a vegetable pasta.

Q: I have a severe nut/shellfish/dairy allergy what can I eat?

A: Please make your server aware of your allergies when you are seated. They will help direct you to the best possible items to choose from.

Parents Corner:

Q: Can I bring my kids?

A: Yes, of course!

Q: Do you have a children's menu?

A: Yes & No, we don't have an offical kids menu, however we do offer chicken fingers and pasta with butter by request and do have french fries, a burger & macadamia encrusted flounder on our lunch & dinner menus that are great for kids too.

Q: Do you have a changing table?

A: Yes, it is located in our family restroom, and is found next to the men's room.
