A Lure, located at the landmark Port of Egypt Marina (www.poemarine.com), is the North Fork’s newest waterfront seafood restaurant and the newest joint venture by celebrated chef Tom Schaudel (
www.tomschaudel.com) and restaurateur Adam Lovett. The duo, known for A Mano in Mattituck, Passionfish in Westhampton Beach and Jedediah Hawkins in Jamesport, is joined by chef de cuisine and partner Jeff Uguil who leads in the kitchen. The idea behind A Lure is to create a seafood chowder house, serving impeccably fresh fish and seafood, in a relatively casual and convivial setting for locals, boaters, day-trippers and vacationers on the idyllic north shore of Long Island wine country.
